How did you end up working at Switch?

I was asked if I’d like to help mentor and advise management from time to time. How could I refuse? Switch is going places and to be a small part of that is an exciting prospect.

Switch has a genuine commitment to best practice and best service in a positive and productive environment.

One thing you’d say to the next new hire at Switch?

You are very fortunate to have a place in Switch. You will be supported to do your best work in an environment of fun and you will gain a sense of achieving something worthwhile.

One of your fondest memories whilst working at Switch?

Our director meetings always explore new ideas to make Switch a better and stronger company, and that involves some very stimulating discussions and debate.

Your favourite thing to do when you’re not working at Switch?

Eat cheese, drink red wine, read and write.

One thing you’ve always wanted to do that hasn’t been ticked off your bucket list?

Drive the Canning Stock Route.

Your favourite movie ever and why?

There are so many favourites. I have to confess to being a Trekky for a long time now, but the God-Father Trilogy was awesome.

Your most treasured possession?

My Land Rover.

Leave town, find a spot near the ocean, turn off the phone.

If you could be a superhero who would it be and why?

Superman: he’s very strong, he can fly, he has incredible integrity, and he has the self confidence to wear his undies on the outside of his suit.
